FAQ

How do we work together?

I will develop a tailored coaching program in support of your coaching goals that will guide our work together.

To support you in taking steps towards meaningful change in relation to your coaching goals we will work together over a 4+ month period.

During these 4+ months we will engage in developmental coaching conversations and you will be given homework every few weeks that all directly support you in taking steps towards meaningful change in relation to your coaching goals.

Types of Coaching Conversations
Intake Conversation

The intake conversation is where we will get clear on why you are looking for a coach, the progress that you've made so far around your coaching topic, and why this area of focus is so important to you.

Next we will explore and co-create a specific coaching topic, which will be a guide for our work together, over the next 5-7 months.

This conversation also allows for you to get a feel for me as your coach.

Offer Conversation

The offer conversation is where we will reconnect on what was discussed during our last conversation.

Next I will offer you a tailored coaching program, with clear developmental objectives, and two coaching practices that have been built to support your development of new capabilities to achieve your coaching topic.

At this time you will have a strong feel for me as a coach and will be able to decide if you’d like to work with me on your coaching topic.

Developmental Coaching Conversations

Developmental conversations occur every 2-3 weeks and build upon themselves as you make progress towards your topic.

We will explore your experience of engaging in your developmental practices to allow you to access a deeper awareness of your current way of approaching your coaching topic and what it does not allow for, and help anchor your embodiment of your new way of approaching your topic.

Completion Conversation

The completion conversation is to honor, anchor, and reflect on our journey over the last 5-7 months.

This is done by recapping our work together, exploring to what degree you feel you have achieved each of your developmental objectives, and discussing steps forward beyond your coaching program so that you can continue to embody new ways of approaching your coaching topic with our time together coming to a close.

 What is Integral Coaching?

Integral Coaching allows for you to become more aware of how you are currently showing up in a situation and through coaching conversations and the methodology are able to develop new capabilities that allow for you to embody new ways of approaching for situation.

Growth is hard. It can be challenging to let go of well-honed patterns. We can feel alone and lost in the wilderness of human development, without a real map or compass to guide us, other than the intuitive pull of our own conscience or the familiar tug of our habits. We might need some help figuring out which direction to face, where to place our next few steps, or where we are even trying to go—and even when we do figure these things out for ourselves, even with a deep desire, good intentions, and a solid plan, the changes we desired can often ebb as the strength of our embodied views and patterns of behavior bring us back to our habitual form. Until very recently, we’ve largely been left to our own devices, forced to continuously figure everything out for ourselves, or else subject our development to the projections and platitudes that stem from various other partial interpretations of reality.

Which is why we are so excited about the Integral Coaching ...that explicitly honors and includes the full spectrum of human development so elegantly described by Ken Wilber’s Integral approach. [The] very first Coaching program that can fully honor and include all of you—all of your strengths, all of your weaknesses, all of your shadows, all of your experiences, and all of your untapped potentials as you expand your perspectives and capacities to include, transcend, and embody a fuller, freer, more capable being.
